    Time required by B and C to complete the work = 5 × 15/3 = 25 days Time taken by A, B and C = 20 days Total units of work = 100 units B and C one day work = 4 units A, B and C one day work = 5 units A’s one day work = 5 – 4 = 1 units Units of work done by A = 2 × 100/5 = 40 units Required value of x = 40/1 = 40 days
