Question
A car was moving at a speed of 50 km/hr for ‘x’ hours.
Later, its speed increased by 10 km/hr and it continued to travel for (x + 5) hours more. If the distance covered in the second part of the journey is 660 km, then what distance did the car travel in the first ‘x’ hours?Solution
ATQ,
60 × (x + 5) = 660
