and still defeats him by 300 metres. If 'N' takes 24 minutes to complete the race, how long does 'M' take?Solution
ATQ,
Distance covered by 'N' when 'M' runs 2400 m = 2400 - 600 - 300 = 1500 m
Speed ratio (M : N) = 2400 : 1500 = 8 : 5
Time ratio = 5 : 8
Time taken by M = (24/8) × 5 = 15 minutes
