C Rs.45,000 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    ATQ,

    Let A's investment = 6x, B's = 7x Rate = 12%, Time: A = 5 yrs, B = 4 yrs Use simple interest formula: A's Amount = 6x + (6x×12×5)/100 = 9.6x B's Amount = 7x + (7x×12×4)/100 = 10.36x Difference = 10.36x - 9.6x = 0.76x = 3800 → x = 3800 / 0.76 = 5000 A’s investment = 6x = 6 × 5000 = 30,000
