    Let the current month incomes of Priya and Ritu be 8x and 7x, respectively. So, Previous month income of Priya = (8x/16) × 15 = 7.5x Previous month income of Ritu = (7x/7) × 6 = 6x According to the question, 7.5x = 60,000 ⇒ x = 8,000 Therefore, required income = 6x = 6 × 8,000 = Rs. 48,000
