(5x + 20) / (7x + 20) = (10/13)
Or, 13 × (5x + 20) = 10 × (7x + 20)
Or, 65x + 260 = 70x + 200
Or, 5x = 60
Or, x = 12
So, the original number of girls in the school = 7 × 12 = 84
