Ratio of number of coins = 5 : 6 : 8. Values: 1 Re coins: 5x × 1 = 5x 50p coins: 6x × 0.50 = 3x 25p coins: 8x × 0.25 = 2x Total Value = 5x + 3x + 2x = 10x. Given 10x = 240 => x = 24. Number of 25-paise coins = 8x = 8 × 24 = 192.
