    Let the number of mango trees and the lichi trees in the orchard be 3x and 4x respectively. According to the question, Number of apple trees in the orchard = 3x + 0.3 × 3x = 3.9x Therefore, 3x + 4x + 3.9x = 109 Or, 10.9x = 109 Or, x = 10 Number of lichi trees in the orchard = 4x = 40
