Let the incomes of Vineet and Vidya be Rs. 5x and Rs. 2x respectively. According to the question, => 0.70 x 5x + 0.80 x 2x = 15300 => 3.5x + 1.6x = 15300 => x = 3000 Required difference = 5x – 2x = 3x = Rs.9000
