Now, equivalent discount of 2 successive discounts of 10% each = {10 + 10 – (10²/100)} = 19% Extra discount on Republic Day = (19 – 15)% = 4% According to the question, 4% of 100x = 1020 Or, 4x = 1020 Or, x = 255 Or, 100x = 25500 Therefore, marked price of the laptop = Rs. 25,500
