    ATQ,

    Let the quantity of apples sold at 25% profit be ‘x’ kg and the quantity of apples sold at 15% profit be ‘25 – x’ kg.

    ATQ;

    40 × 0.15 × (25 – x) + 40 × 0.25 × x = 175

    Or, 150 – 6x + 10x = 175

    Or, 4x = 25

    Or, x = 6.25

    Therefore, the seller sold 6.25 kg of apples at 25% profit.
