According to the question, => 4x = 9x – 10 => x = 2 Present age of Beena = 4 × 2 = 8 years Present age of Meenal = 9 × 2 = 18 years Now, 8 years hence their ratio of ages, Beena age = 8 + 8 = 16 years Meenal age = 18 + 8 = 26 years Required ratio = 16:26 = 8:13
