Question
The probability of getting a multiple of 2 on one dice
and a multiple of 3 on another dice.Solution
We are rolling two dice.
Multiples of 2 from 1 to 6 are: 2, 4, 6 → 3 outcomes.
Multiples of 3 from 1 to 6 are: 3, 6 → 2 outcomes.
Total possible outcomes when rolling two dice = 6 × 6 = 36
Favorable outcomes = 3 × 2 = 6
So, the probability = 6 / 36 = 1/6
