    P = Rs. 6800, r = 8% and t = 5 years. As we know, SI = (Prt/100) SI = (6800 × 8 × 5)/100 SI = Rs. 2720 Total amount = 6800 + 2720 = 9520 Remaining amount = 9520/2 = 4760
