    Distance covered in the first 2 hours = (90 x 2) km = 180 km Distance covered in the next 2 hours = (100 x 2) km = 200 km Remaining distance = 479 - (180 + 200) = 99 km  Now, speed in the fifth hour = 110 km/hr ∴ Time taken to cover 99 km = 99/110 = 9/10 hrs ∴ Total time taken = 2 + 2 + 9/10 = 4 + 9/10 = 4hrs 54 min
