    Quantity of milk in the final mixture = 3/4 + 7/8 + 11/16 = (12 + 14 + 11)/16 = 37/16  Quantity of water in the final mixture = 1/4 + 1/8 + 5/16 = (4 + 2 + 5)/16 = 11/16 Ratio of water and milk in the final mixture = 11 : 37 ∴ The ratio of water to milk in the said container is 11 : 37
