    A can fill half of the tank in 6 hrs so, A can fill the full tank in 12 hrs B can fill the tank in 18 hrs C can empty the tank in 9 hrs Total capacity of tank = 36 unit (LCM of 12, 18 and 9) A can fill the tank in 1 hr = +3 B can fill the tank in 1 hr = +2 C can empty the tank in 1 hr = -4 Total tank filled in 1 hr = 3 + 2 – 4 = 1 unit   1% ≡ 36 unit 80% ≡ 36 × 80/100 = 29 units
