Let monthly income of P is Rs. 100x Percentage of amount spent on travelling = 100 – 34 – 22 – 18 – 12 = 14% According to question 0.34 × 100x – 0.14 × 100x = 3600 34x – 14x = 3600 20x = 3600 x = 180 Monthly income of P= Rs. 18000 Money spent on food = 0.22 × 18000 = Rs.3960
