    ATQ, Let the maximum marks of the exam be '100x' ATQ: Passing marks of the exam = 100x X 0.35 + 24 = 100x X 0.75 - 72 Or, 35x + 24 = 75x - 72 Or, 40x = 96 Or, x = (96/40) = (12/5) Therefore, the maximum marks of the exam = 100x = 100x X (12/5) = 240 Required passing marks = 240 X 0.35 + 24 = 84 + 24 = 108
