    spent 25% on food, 40% of the rest on travelling. Out of remaining amount he spends Rs.620 on miscellaneous and saves the rest. Find the amount he saved.

    Amount spent on food = 0.25 x 3000 = Rs.750 Amount spent on travelling = 0.4 x (3000 – 750) = Rs.900 His savings = 3000 – (750 + 900 + 620) = Rs.730
