    Solution

    Let the total number of students in school B be ‘x’. Therefore, total number of students in school A = 1.2x Number of boys in school A = 0.90 × 1.2x = 1.08x Number of boys in school B = 0.8x Required % = [(1.08x – 0.8x)/0.8x] × 100 = 35%
