A man invested all his current month income in starting of a new business in which he spends 20% in advertisement 40% of remaining in furniture 10% of remaining in gadgets and remaining Rs 135000 in miscellaneous. Find amount spend on gadget is what percent more or less than amount spend on advertisement.
Solution
Let the salary of man is Rs. 100x.
=> 100x × 80/100 × 60/100 × 90/100 = 135000
=> x = 3125
Total salary of man of that month = Rs 312500
Amount spend of advertisement = 20% of 312500 = 62500
Amount spend on gadgets = 312500 × 80/100 × 60/100 × 10/100 = Rs. 15000
Required % = (62500 - 15000)/62500 × 100 = 76%
