and Rs. 10,800 respectively. Nisha withdrew her capital after a few months. The profit at year-end was shared in the ratio of 4:3. Find the number of months after which Nisha left.
A 12 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
B 6 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
C 3 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
D 10 Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
E None of these Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    ATQ,

Let Nisha stayed in the business for 'n' months.

    Profit ratio = (7,200 × 12) : (10,800 × n) = 86,400 : 10,800n

    So, 86,400 : 10,800n = 4 : 3

    ⇒ 3 × 86,400 = 4 × 10,800n

    ⇒ 2,59,200 = 43,200n

    ⇒ n = 6
