    ATQ, Let the incomes of ‘D’, ‘E’, and ‘F’ be Rs. d, Rs. e, and Rs. f. According to the question, 0.45d : 0.4e : 0.5f = 3 : 4 : 9 Or, d : e : f = (3/0.45) : (4/0.4) : (9/0.5) = 6.67 : 10 : 18 Sum of the ratios = 6.67 + 10 + 18 = 34.67 Therefore, income of ‘D’ = 15000 × (6.67/34.67) = Rs. 2886 Income of ‘E’ = 15000 × (10/34.67) = Rs. 4327 Income of ‘F’ = 15000 - (2886 + 4327) = Rs. 7787 Required sum = (0.55 × 2886) + (0.6 × 4327) + (0.5 × 7787) = 1587 + 2596 + 3894 = Rs. 8077
