Question
Statements: Some Beginner are Pilot. No
Pilot is a Performer. Some Performer are Experienced. Conclusion: I. All Beginner can be Performer. II. Few Experienced are not Pilot. III. All Experienced are Pilot. In the questions given below there are three statements followed by three conclusions I, II and III. You have to take the three given statements to be true even if they seem to be at variance from commonly known facts. Read all the conclusions and then decide which of the given conclusions logically follows from the given statements disregarding commonly known facts.Solution
Some Beginner are Pilot (I) + No Pilot are Performer (E) → Some Beginner are not Performer (O) → Probable conclusion → Some Beginner are Performer (I). Hence conclusion I does not follow. No Pilot are Performer (E) + Some Performer are Experienced (I) → Some Experienced are not Pilot (O*). Hence conclusion II follows but conclusion III does not follow.
I. 27(p + 2) = 2p(24 – p)
II. 2q2 – 25q + 78 = 0
I. 3x6- 19x3+16=0
II. 9y4- 27y2+20=0
I. 4x² - 21x + 20 = 0
II. 8y² - 22y + 15 = 0
I. 3q² -29q +18 = 0
II. 9p² - 4 = 0
I. 81x - 117√x + 40 = 0
II. 81y - 225√y + 136 = 0
I. 2y2 – 19y + 35 = 0
II. 4x2 – 16x + 15 = 0
Solve the quadratic equations and determine the relation between x and y:
Equation 1: 31x² - 170x + 216 = 0
Equation 2: 22y² - 132y + ...
(i) x² – 3x – 40 = 0
(ii) y² + 11y + 30 = 0
Solve the quadratic equations and determine the relation between x and y:
Equation 1: x² - 24x + 143 = 0
Equation 2: y² - 26y + 165 = 0
I. 3x² - 22 x + 40 = 0
II. 4y² + 22y + 24 = 0
