Let the total number of students in the school be '4x'. So, the number of toffees received by each student = 0.25 × 4x = 'x' ATQ, Total number of toffees distributed = 4x × x = 5184 Or, x² = (5184 ÷ 4) = 1296 Since, number of toffees cannot be negative. So, x = 36 Therefore, the number of toffees received by each student = x = 36
