In a school a total of 5,184 toffees was distributed among all the students in the school. The toffees were distributed in such a way that number of toffees received by each student were 25% of the total number of students in the school. Find the number of toffees each student gets.

Let the total number of students in the school be '4x'. So, the number of toffees received by each student = 0.25 × 4x = 'x' ATQ, Total number of toffees distributed = 4x × x = 5184 Or, x² = (5184 ÷ 4) = 1296 Since, number of toffees cannot be negative. So, x = 36 Therefore, the number of toffees received by each student = x = 36
