If the square root of 1024 is added to 30% of a number we get 4 less than 2/5th of the number. What is 3/8th of the number?
Solution
Let the number be N.
According to the question,
√1024 + 0.3N = 2N/5 - 4
=> 32 + 0.3N = 0.4N - 4
=> 0.1N = 36
=> N = 360
