of juice is removed and replaced with an equal amount of water. This operation is done two more times. What is the quantity of water in the container at the end?Solution
ATQ,
Quantity of juice in the resultant mixture = 300 × (1 – 120/300)³
= 300 × (1 – 0.4)³
= 300 × (0.6)³
= 300 × 0.216
= 64.8 litres
So, the quantity of water in the mixture = 300 – 64.8 = 235.2 litres
