A vessel contains milk and water in the ratio 3:2. When 30
litres of water is added, the ratio becomes 3:4. Find the total quantity of the final solution.Solution

Initial ratio = 3:2 → Total = 5 parts
Let total = 5x
→ Milk = 3x, Water = 2x
Water after addition = 2x + 30
New ratio = 3x : (2x + 30) = 3 : 4
Initial volume = 5 × 15 = 75 litres
Final = 75 + 30 = 105 litres
