Let the length and breadth be 5x metres and 3x metres respectively.
According to the question,
2 × (5x + 3x) = 960 / 12
Or, 2 × 8x = 80
Or, 16x = 80
Or, x = 5 metres
Therefore, area of the rectangular plot = 5x × 3x = 15x² = 15 × 25 = 375 m²
