    Let the original length and breadth of the rectangle be 8x cm and 5x cm, respectively According to the question, 2 × {(1.3 × 8x) + (0.8 × 5x)} = 720 Or, 10.4x + 4x = 720 Or, x = 720/14.4 = 25 Therefore, original area of the rectangle = 8x × 5x = 40x2 = 25000 cm2
