    Solution

    Capacity of the box = 84 × 70 × 65 = 382200 m³ Volume of the rectangular wooden box = 88 × 74 × 67 = 436304 m³ Volume of the wood used = volume of the rectangular wooden box – capacity of the box  = (436304 – 382200) = 54104 m³
