The LCM of two natural numbers is 18 times their HCF. If the product of given two numbers is 16,200, then find the LCM of the numbers.
Solution
Let the HCF of the number be 'H'. So, LCM = 18H Product of two numbers = Product of their HCF and LCM So, 18H X H = 16,200 Or, H2 = 900 Or, 'H' = 30 or, H = - 30 Since, HCF cannot be negative. So, 'H' = 30 Therefore, LCM = 18 X 30 = 540
