    From I: 8x2 – 50x + 33 = 0 => 8x2 – 6x – 44x + 33 = 0 => 2x(4x – 3) – 11(4x – 3) = 0 => (2x – 11)(4x – 3) = 0 => x = 3/4, 11/2 => x = 0.75, 5.5 From II: 12y2 + 48y = 0 => 12y(y + 4) = 0 => y = 0, -4 so, x > y
