The pie-chart given below shows the percentage of the number of leather bags sold by these five different shops in 2018.

Number of leather bags sold by shop E is how much percent less than the number of non-leather bags sold by shop A?

Solution

Number of leather bags sold by shop E = 5000 x (12/100) x (40/100) = 240 Number of non-leather bags sold by shop A = 5000 x (20/100) x (25/100) = 250 Required % = [(250-240)/250] x 100 = 4%
