Statement I: Lal and Bal can together finish the same piece of work in 12 days. Bal and Pal together can finish the same piece of work in 24 days. pal and lal can finish the same piece of work in 20 days.

Statement II: The time taken by lal alone to finish the same piece of work is 48 days less than time taken by pal alone to finish the same piece of work:

From statement I: 2 (lal + bal + pal) =1/12 + 2/24 + 1/20 From this we can find (lal + bal + Pal)’s one day’s of work From statement II: No such result can be concluded
