As AB is diameter So Angle ACB = 90 degree ; Hence in right angle Δ ABC, AB 2 = AC 2 + BC 2 = 82 + 152 = 64 + 225 = 289 AB = 17 cm = 2R So R = 17/2 cm Hence, Area of circle = Ï€R 2  = Ï€ (17/2) 2  = 72.25Ï€ cm 2 Â
