Solution
Downstream speed = 600 ÷ 12 = 50 m/min. Upstream speed = 600 ÷ 15 = 40 m/min. Speed of stream = (Downstream speed - Upstream speed) ÷ 2 = (50 - 40) ÷ 2 = 10 ÷ 2 = 5 m/min. Correct Option: e) 5 m/min
