Solution

Downstream speed of the boat = 252/5.25 = 48 km/hr Speed of the stream = 48 x (3/8) = 18 km/hr So, speed of the boat in still water = 48 – 18 = 30 km/hr Required time taken = 300/30 = 10 hours
