Given, Boys = 24 × (5/6) = 20 Girls = 24 − 20 = 4 So, 20(b + 3) + 4(b − 3) = 24 × 18 20b + 60 + 4b − 12 = 432 24b + 48 = 432 24b = 384 b = 16
