Let the mangoes received by 1st farmer be ‘x’
According to the question,
(x + x + 1 + x + 2 + x + 3 + x + 4) = 12 × 5
Or, 5x + 10 = 60
Or, 5x = 50
Or, x = 10
Therefore, highest number of mangoes received by any farmer = (x + 4) = 14
