ATQ, Total age of 40 employees = 40 × 20 = 800 years Total age of 42 people (employees + Managers) = 42 × 21 = 882 years Age of manager = 882 – 800 = 82 years According to the question, a + a + 10 = 82 2a = 72 a = 36 Hence Required age = 46 years
