of first 3 numbers is 55 and ratio of the 4th and the 5th number is 2:3. If difference between the 4th and the 5th number is 13, then find the average of all the numbers.Solution
Given, 4th number:5th number = 2:3 Let, 4th number = 2x 5th number = 3x So, 3x – 2x = 13 Or, x = 13 Required average = {(55 + 13 × 2 + 13 × 3)/5} = (120/5) = 24
