    Number of crows = 5/8× 480 = 300 Alternate shortcut method: Number of cows = (4×number of legs – number of feet)/2 = (4×480 – 1320 )/2  =  (1920 – 1320 )/2 = 600/2 =300 Note: if number of cows is asked, then use this shortcut, Number of crows = (number of legs –2×number of feet)/2
