    A 39 yrs Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    B 15 yrs Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    C 23 yrs Correct Answer Incorrect Answer
    D 17 yrs Correct Answer Incorrect Answer

    Solution

    ATQ,

    Let the present age of A, B and C be ‘a’, ‘b’ and ‘c’ years respectively.

    a – 3 = 1.3 × a – 9

    0.3 × a = 6

    a = 6 / 0.3

    a = 20 years

    So, age of c = 20 × 0.55 = 11 years

    Also, (b + 4)/(c – 2) = 3/1

    b + 4 = 3 × (11 – 2) = 3 × 9 = 27

    b = 27 – 4 = 23 years
