    Ratio of the present ages of Jack and Kevin is 7:m

    respectively. Five years hence from now, the sum of the ages of Jack and Kevin will be 55 years. Six years ago from now, the age of Liam, who is six years elder to Kevin, was 24 years. Find the value of (m + 5)(m + 6).

    ATQ, Present age of Liam = 24 + 6 = 30 years Present age of Kevin = 30 - 6 = 24 years So, present age of Jack = 55 - 24 - 5 = 26 years Ratio of present ages of Jack and Kevin respectively = 26:24 = 13:12 So, 'm' = 12 Therefore, required value = (12 + 5) × (12 + 6) = 17 × 18 = 306
