    At present, Rahul and Rajat have ages in a 7:5 ratio.

    Anirudh age is 3 years less than Rahul and Sneha age is 5 years more than Rajat If the average current age of Sneha, Anirudh, Rahul and Rajat is 24 years and six months, what is the ratio of Rajat age to Sneha age?

    ATQ, Let the present ages of Rahul and Rajat be 7x years and 5x years, respectively. So, the present age of Anirudh = 7x – 3 years Present age of Sneha = 5x + 5 years According to question:  7x + 5x + 7x – 3 + 5x + 5 = 4 × 24.5 24x + 2 = 98 24x = 96 x = 4 So, the present ages of Sneha, Anirudh, Rahul and Rajat are 25 years, 25 years, 28 years and 20 years respectively. So, the desired ratio = 20:25 = 4:5
