Solution

The trend line with 1975 as origin is Y = 20.6 + 1.68X, When we take 1971 as origin, we go down by 4 years, the trend line with 1971 as origin will be  Y = 20.6  + 1.68 (X– 4) Y = 20.6 + 1.68X – 6.72 Y = 13.88 + 1.68 X
