Mithali Raj, the former captain of the Indian women's cricket team, has been appointed as the mentor for Women's Cricket Operations by the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA). In this role, she will focus on scouting and developing young cricket talent across the state. This position is for a three-year term. ACA is also establishing a High-Performance Academy in Anantapur, aimed at training 80 girls from various age groups year-round. The academy will provide regular matches for Under-15 players to enhance their skills and confidence. Mithali Raj retired from international cricket in 2022.
