The Agriculture Infrastructure Fund has supported 1,13,419 projects since its launch in the financial year 2020–21. The scheme was introduced to strengthen post-harvest infrastructure across the agricultural value chain. These projects include facilities such as custom hiring centres, food processing units, warehouses, and cold storage infrastructure. The total investments mobilised through the scheme amount to ₹1,07,502 crore, with ₹66,310 crore sanctioned under the programme. The initiative aims to improve agricultural supply chains, reduce post-harvest losses, and enhance storage and processing capacity in rural areas.
